My name is Caroline Young; I am a poet, painter, astrologer, writing instructor, and am a Master/Teacher trained in both the Karuna Reiki® and Usui Reiki method.

My path to healing has been circuitous.  I received my B.A. in Art History from Boston University in 1990 and a Masters of Fine Arts in Poetry from Queens University of Charlotte in 2008. More recently, I completed my Ph.D. in Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Georgia in 2014 and am currently a Lecturer in English at University of Georgia.  I also teach writing and literature at Whitworth Women’s Facility in Hartwell, Georgia, part of Common Good Atlanta’s prison education program.

My studies in the language and visual arts have served my astrology practice in surprising ways.   Part of my goal as an astrologer is to discover the imagery that best serves each client, translating birth data into a language that resonates with his or her elemental nature.

Having studied astrology since 1998, I began composing natal charts in 2005 and discovered the benefits of Reiki in 2014.  Through the integration of these practices, I strive to help clients release energy that does not serve and accept energy that will enable them to align with their unique life path potentials.
